EGYC FROSTBITING

The Notice of Race and Entry Forms for the EGYC Frostbite Series have been posted. Racing will start on Saturday, October 13th, and will be held off of the gas dock at EGYC or the area off of Goddard Park Beach. The frostbite series marks the return of “cool-weather” sailing to Greenwich Bay…keep in mind, this is NOT on Sundays so we can all watch the Patriots! It looks like there will be 2 divisions: Sunfish and Laser. The divisions will be further broken down by age group. There are a few other details that will be worked out prior to race day (boat storage, social activities, etc…) but rest assured we will be racing!

COMING THIS WINTER TO EGYC

Long talked about but now in the works…the SPEEDHAUS LECTURE SERIES.

The Speedhaus Lecture Series will feature local and international sailors that have reached the top of their game in the sport of yacht racing. The lectures will cover topics such as boat preparation, PHRF optimization, the science of sail making, sail trim, tactics and the Racing Rules of Sailing. Early commitments include Moose McClintock, former America’s Cup sail trimmer, and Skip Mattos of Hall Spars.
